Tip #164: Copying Custom Report Groups in Empower

Welcome back to Get Empowered! In the last Empower tip-of-the-week post for Empower Chromatography Data Software, we learned how to set up automatic email notifications in Empower (Tip #163).

In this week’s tip, we will learn about copying custom report groups between projects. Once we create a custom report group, we may want to use it in another project, or possibly have it present in all projects.

Let’s get started.

CASE 1 | Copying a Report Group from One Project to Another

Step 1

Open ‘Report Publisher’ in the project with the custom report group and then open ‘Report Publisher’ of the project you want to copy it to. Size the windows so that they are side by side (figure 1).

Step 2

Drag and drop the ‘custom report group’ from the original project to the destination project (figure 2).
