Tip #200: Special Video Tip | Question from an Empower User

Welcome back to Get Empowered! In the last Empower tip-of-the-week post for Empower Chromatography Data System, we learned how to report the results of a Validation test and/or a Validation study (Tip #199).

We’ve reached a milestone– Empower Tip of the Week #200!

We appreciate our loyal Empower users. Please accept this Empower themed digital wallpaper for you to download and use in your lab (download here) as a THANK YOU for following the blog, subscribing to the email, and submitting excellent questions (keep the questions coming!)

This week, I have a special video tip and will answer a recently submitted question.

Q: I have peaks which elute very close together and because the retention time windows overlap, I narrowed them for proper identification. Even though the apex of each peaks falls within their respective retention time windows, some of them are not identified. What could be the cause of this problem?

Great question! Let’s get started with the video and I’ll answer that question.

Please rate this Empower Tip of the Week

Next week in Empower Tip #201– We will answer another Empower user question regarding calculating signal to noise in Empower.
