Tip #240: How to email results when using the Walk-Up Interface in Empower
Welcome back to Get Empowered! In the last Empower tip-of-the-week blog for Empower Chromatography Data System, we began a new blog series and discussed how to use Walk-Up Interface in Empower (Tip #239).
In this week’s tip, we will continue our discussion and learn how to email results when using the Walk-Up Interface in Empower.
Let’s get started.
Step 1
Create an Export Method to specify the ‘report method to be used’ and ‘who should receive the exported results’ (email recipient) (figure 1). (NOTE: Refer to Tips 218, 219, 223 and 224 to learn how to create an Export Method)

Add the Export Method to the Method Set (figure 2).

After the run starts, on the ‘Select Reporting Options’ screen, enter the email address of the recipient (figure 3).

Once the run is complete, the report will be emailed to the email recipient (figure 4).
